During the inspection a caregiver who had an inactive background check status was present and caring for children. This was corrected during the inspection when the person was sent home.

During the inspection the diaper changing tables in the Infant and Waddler classrooms were placed next to hand washing sinks which were not operating. This was corrected during the inspection in the Waddler classroom when the diaper changing table was moved next to the restroom.

The training records for two caregivers did not have training in storing and handling of hazardous materials, and responding to food allergies.

During the inspection a two year old child was observed sitting in a high chair during naptime and the child was given a quiet activity at that time. One hour later, the child was observed still sitting in the high chair and did not have a quiet activity. This was corrected during the inspection when the director instructed the caregiver to remove the child from the high chair.

This standard was evaluated during the investigation and was found to be deficient. An infant's soiled or wet diapers were not changed promptly.

At the time of inspection an infant was observed asleep in their crib on their tummy. A doctor's note was posted over the crib advising that the child has acid reflux and must lay on their tummy after eating for a period of time. No sleep exemption form had been completed by the child's doctor.

This standard was tasked over for this investigation and found to be deficient. It was determined that infants are allowed to fall asleep in their cribs while holding their bottles.
