Children were observed on their mats with the lights off ready for nap time watching a movie.

Caregiver files, including training records, were not at the operation during the inspection. The director had taken them home.

A child was observed sleeping on a rug in the library area during nap time.

One caregiver did not have documentation of receiving an orientation upon hire.

Children came inside from outdoor play and sat down in circle time to read a book. Children did not wash their hands.

A caregiver had to leave the classroom to answer the front door leaving the children alone in the classroom.

First aid kit did not contain cotton balls.

There is a Little Tykes storage chest on the playground without a lid support mechanism preventing it from closing should a child climb inside.

Background checks for the director and caregivers were not entered or processed prior to the inspection. NOTE: The provider has not been able to register for an online portal account.

Health statements were not available for review for the provider's 2 dogs on site.

The main restroom locks from the inside and there is not an available key to unlock the door should a child accidentally lock themselves inside.
