Caregiver was shown as having an inactive background check. NOTE: Caregiver left premises after inactive background check discovered.

Food was observed to be uncovered in the refrigerator.

During this inspection an individual was present with a group of nine children ages 23 months-2 years old. The individual was present without an eligible background check. Note: The individual was removed from the classroom during this inspection.

The operation has not conducted monthly fire extinguisher inspections.

Medication stored in its original container is needed for two children in care.

A food allergy emergency plan is needed for one child with a diagnosed food allergy. A parent signature is needed on the food allergy emergency plan for one child enrolled.

Pediatric CPR training is needed for 8 staff members.

Pediatric first aid training is needed for eight staff members.

The following was observed during the follow up inspection: One child needed a food allergy plan signed by a physician and parent. Five children's files needed the emergency contact's address.

Two caregivers were observed caring for children without an initial background check.

Caregivers in five of the classrooms inspected were unaware of the number of children present in the room.

I observed unsupervised children on the outdoor patio area of the classroom. The caregiver was inside of the classroom. I observed children sleeping in a classroom. The caregivers could not see or hear the children from where they were placed.

Ten children's records were reviewed and the following was determined: Seven needed emergency contact information One needed emergency care information Signatures were needed on food allergy forms for two children with known food allergies.
