Annual Training-Child placement staff with one year of child-placing experience and all child placement management staff must complete 20hrs.

Training Timeline-Each person must complete the required annual training during each subsequent 12-month period or beginning of provision of care.

Notification - Report foster or adoptive placements not made by parents or CPA as soon as aware to Texas Abuse and Neglect Hotline

Abuse and neglect policy - You must develop policies on preventing, recognizing, and responding to abuse and neglect of children

You must immediately refer a child to a MH professional for a suicide risk assessment if screening finds child to be at a high risk for suicide.

Notification - At least 30 days in advance - Change in legal structure of operation or governing body

You must conduct a review of lessons learned from the child?s suicide attempt.
