During the inspection it was observed that the operation, both inside and outside, were not being thoroughly cleaned regularly. The floors of the operation had crumbs, and dirt, visible. The changing pad and hand washing sink both had visible dirt specs, and the outdoor area needed to be cleaned and rinsed down to help prevent the dust/ pollen build up .

During the inspection it was observed that the gate leading to the in ground swimming pool was not self closing or self latching.

During the inspection it was observed that two children under the age of two were having screen time.

During the walkthrough, a cat litter box was found in the bathroom with cat poop being accessible to children in care.

There were no instructions for contacting local Licensing office, access the Texas Abuse and Neglect Hotline, and access the HHSC website in the operational policies.

The 3A-40BC was not mounted properly but located on top of the refrigerator.

There was no recommendation of clothing and footing for participation in physical activities.

There was no duration of indoor phyysical activity stated in the operational policies.

5 antiseptic wipes found in the first aid kit were expired by 2009. This was corrected when those wipes were removed and thrown away.

During the walkthrough of the home, it was found that cleaning supplies in the bathroom, gardening tools outside, trash, and pet food were made accessible to children in care. Additionally, the children's space to the bathroom was cluttered making trash, craft supplies, and cleaning supplies accessible to the children. Outside, the window attached to the garage used as the second exit from the outdoor play area was made inaccessible on the inside of the garage due to clutter of household items piled under the window creating an unclear pathway for exiting in case of an emergency.

An annual certification of children's products has not been conducted or documented for review.

A household member did not have a renewed background check submitted.

The trash in the restroom is accessible to the children in care. This was corrected at the inspection.

The primary caregiver did not have active background check as it was inactivated on 11/28/22.

Battery operated Carbon monoxide was last check on 10/13/2021. This was corrected at inspection when the primary caregiver tested the carbon monoxide at inspection.
