The home did not have a fire extinguisher as required.

During the inspection of the backyard, I observed a gas can, Rake, extension cord on the ground and ant piles.

The primary caregiver does not have current transportation training.

The primary caregiver is missing 30 clock hours of the required annual training year for Feb 2023-Feb 2024.

I did not observe documentation of fire drills for 2022.

I observed that there was not enrollment information for two school-age children who are in care at the child care home. I evaluated the enrollment record for a pre-school child who is in care and observed that the enrollment record was missing the following information: 1. Parent authorization for emergency medical care. 2. Phone numbers for persons authorized to pick up the child from the child care home. 3. Information indicating whether or not the child has any special needs. 4. An updated immunization record.

I observed that the home's operational policies were missing the following required information: 1. Promotion of indoor/outdoor physical activity 2. Current contact information for HHSC - Child Care Regulation.

I did not observe a fire extinguisher in the home.

I observed that a background check had not been submitted for an adult person who lives in the home.

I observed an electrical outlet in the hallway and one in the dining room that were not enclosed with protective covers. NOTE: This was corrected during the inspection.
