At the time of inspection an epi-pen prescribed to one child with food allergies was not in the original packaging with the child's information.

At the time of inspection the operation did not have a complete food allergy plan for one child with a diagnosed food allergy. The Food Allergy Plan available in the child's file did not have updated information regarding administration of epi-pen and was not signed by parent/physician.

This standard was evaluated in regard to an investigation and found to be in violation of minimum standards. The caregiver did not conduct a name to face recognition prior to transitioning to another area.
