There is sufficient evidence to support that a caregiver did not demonstrate good judgment when choosing not to notify additional staff that a child had fallen and was exhibiting a change in behavior, delaying the child's parents being notified and medical attention being sought.

There is sufficient evidence to prove that after a fall occurred in which a toddler fell and hit their head and shoulder on the floor, the caregiver did not hold or comfort the child.

Note-This standard is being added to replace minimum standard 746.2415(B) as the correct standard to be cited for the deficiency as result of administrative review. A follow-up inspection was completed on 8/5/21 and the operation was found to be in compliance during the inspection.
