The 30 annual training hours was not accessible for Childcare Regulation to review.

During the inspection, a person with an inactive background check was observed caring for children. This was corrected at inspection when the person left the operation.

During the inspection, a person with a pending background check was observed around the children. This was corrected at inspection when the person left the operation.

Based on evidence gathered during the investigation, it was found that the operation places a child in a highchair for time out.

The operational policy was missing a section on breastfeeding.

Children under two years old were observed in a classroom with a television playing. This was corrected at inspection when the caregiver turned the television around.

The operational policy did not have a section explaining health checks.

The health statement for one child was missing from the file, as the child was enrolled February 3. 2020.

Of the 5 children records reviewed all 5 files were missing all or part of the required information for the Emergency Care Physician and/or the Emergency Care Facility.

Of the 5 children records reviewed, 1 child did not have vision and hearing screening records on file.

Of the 5 children records reviewed there were 2 files missing the address of the emergency contact. Of the 5 children records reviewed there was 1 file missing the names and phone number for persons other than parent to whom the child may be released. Of the 5 children records reviewed there were 3 files missing the statement of special needs acknowlegement. Of the 5 children records reviewed there was 1 file missing the childs date of admission to the child care center.

It was found that a caregiver is not using positive forms of discipline. It was found that a caregiver is flicking fingers towards children, the caregiver is close enough so that the children can feel the wind of the flick. It was found when children are not listening to directions they are instructed to "go to the wall" and sit out.
