This standard was evaluated as part of the investigation and found to be deficient. The infant B classroom was out of child ratio with two staff. The two staff were present with 13 children in the older infant classroom aging from 7 months to 3 years old and out of ratio by 3 children.

One of the children present in the infant B classroom at the time of the inspection was 3 years old and the youngest infant present was 7 months old. The 3 year old is more than 18 months older than the youngest infant.

It was observed that a caregiver did not wash their hands in between the diaper changes.

During the inspection one classroom was out of ratio. This was corrected at inspection. There was one caregiver with 10 chilren ages 18m-23m.

The garbage can in the school age room did not have a lid and had garbage items in it and availble to the children.

During inspection 10 children records were reviewed and 9 of the 10 records were missing the admission date, 1 record was missing the release individuals and 4 records were missing updated shot records.

A caregiver was observed not washing a child's hands after a diaper change. This was corrected when the inspector asked the caregiver to wash the child's hands.

Emergency drill documentation was observed and found that the time of the drill was not documented for the year of 2023.

Staff files were reviewed and one file was missing a current drivers license.

During inspection it was obsereved that the most recent inspection form was not posted.

The changing pad in the two year old room was torn and not able to be sanitized correctly anymore.

During inspection the menu observed was not being followed for snack.

During inspection the caregiver was observed walking away from the changing table and leaving a child unattended on the table, not buckled in, waiting to have their diaper changed.

Staff files were reviewed and 2 staff with hire dates in February have not completed the 24 hours of pre-service that is required.

Staff files were reviewed and one staff did not have documentation of orientation to the operation.

During inspection it was observed that the school age children were watching tv during nap time.

The annual health inspection was not available at the inspection.

The fire extinguisher in the van was not charged.
