Two out of the three student files are missing a health statement.

Operational policy did not have procedures for parents to review a copy of the child-care home's most recent Licensing inspection report and how the parent may access the minimum standards online

Caregiver has an open storage chest with no safety latch to free a child if a child was to get inside. This was corrected at inspection, caregiver placed a lock on the storage chest.

Operational polices does not have discipline policy.

Operational policies does not have safe sleep policy.

Caregiver does not have fire extinguisher mounted.

Caregiver was not able to provide the current menu and menu's from 3 months prior upon request.

Caregiver had the backyard exit gate locked with a padlock on the street side of the gate and could not unlock the gate without having to go back through the home to unlock the gate from street side of the home. In the event of an emergency caregiver would not have been able to immediately unlock the gate without having to travel back through the home. This was corrected at inspection, caregiver moved the lock to the inside of the gate making it easily accessible to be unlocked in the event of an emergency.

A plug in the kitchen did not have a safety cover on it and was accessible to children. This was corrected at inspection, caregiver covered the outlet with plugin.

Upon arrival an infant was observed to be sitting in her car seat unstrapped. The infant was then moved to an infant seat and was sitting there longer than 15 minutes. This was corrected at inspection, caregiver picked up the infant.

Caregiver's Child Product Safety Consumer verification form was expired with a date of 5/11/2019.

Caregiver had lysol and hand sanitizer out accessible to children. This was corrected at inspection, caregiver removed the supplies and made them inaccessible to the children.

Operational policies does not have promotion of physical activities policy.

Upon arrival caregiver had the news on with children under 2 years old present. Caregiver then changed the TV to baby shark. This was corrected at inspection, caregiver turned off the TV.

Operational policy did not have instructions on how a parent may contact the local Licensing office, access the Texas Abuse and Neglect Hotline, and access the HHSC website.
