A classroom has a medium size pet turtle inside of an aquarium that does not have an aquarium cover accessible to children. The turtle could pose a hazard if a child placed their hands inside to touch which could result the child's finger being bitten.

The standard was evaluated with regards to an investigation and was not found in compliance. Management did not report a vehicle accident that placed 3 school-age children at risk within the required 48 hour timeframe.
