A teacher was observed not washing the hands of a child after changing a diaper. The Director was notified, and the Director addressed the concern withe the teacher. The teacher then picked up the child, and washed the child's hands during the inspection. The hand washing guidelines were reviewed with the teacher.

The operation did not have documentation available showing completed monthly inspection of the play area. During the inspection, the Director completed and documented a play area inspection report.

The preschool and toddler classrooms had outlets missing safety covers. The Director took extra safety covers and covered the outlets during the inspection.

According to the video in the DFPS investigation, it was found that a caregiver did not use positive methods of discipline and guidance while caring for a child.

One caregiver has expired CPR/First Aid training. The operation came into compliance on 8/2/23 when they emailed the most recent CPR/First Aid training certificate.

Fabuloso and room spray were accessible to children in one classroom. This was corrected at inspection when the cleaning supplies were moved out of reach of children.
