The Operational Polices for the child care home are missing the following: Procedure for the release of children; Illness and exclusion criteria; Procedures for dispensing medication, or a statement that medication is not dispensed; Procedures for handling medical emergencies; Discipline and guidance policy; Safe sleep policy for infants from birth through 12 months old; Promotion of indoor and outdoor physical activity; Procedures for parents to visit the child-care home any time during your hours of operation; Procedures for parents to review a copy of the child-care home's most recent Licensing inspection report and how the parent may access the minimum standards online; Instructions on how a parent may contact the local Licensing office, access the Texas Abuse and Neglect Hotline, and access the HHSC website

The written activity plan only listed one daily opportunity for outdoor play.

On the wooden fencing surrounding the outdoor play area, there were: two spots where nails were exposed at the bottom of the fence; two spots where the slats had gaps at the bottom of the fence; and one section of fencing that had pulled away from part of the fence which caused a gap in the fencing at the children's level.
