A child was observed in a high chair and was observed to not be fastened. The child was removed from the high chair during the inspection.

There were 2 infants observed asleep with a bib on in their crib.

There were 2 classrooms that were not in ratio during the inspection. The first classroom had 18 children, with 1 caregiver and the specified age group was 12-17 months. The second classroom had 7 children with 1 caregiver and the specified age group was 12-17 months. Another caregiver arrived for classroom 1 and the second classroom, 3 infants went into another infant room, which reduced the risk to children.

A caregiver's file was reviewed and the caregiver did not have any hours towards health and safety practices.

The operation did not have a current fire inspection report. The last fire inspection report was completed on 1/23/24.

3 out of 6 files reviewed did not have an emergency authorization on file for review.

The fire extinguishers have not been serviced recently, the fire extinguishers were last serviced in 2023.

A child was observed sitting in a high chair during naptime in order to avoid him walking around the room, disturbing children. The caregiver removed the child from the high chair during the inspection.

It was determined a volunteer was left alone with children in care, while transporting them to their classrooms.

It was determined some of the age groups do not have water outside to drink during outdoor activities.

It was determined the infants were going outside during the same time the school age children were outdoors.

It was determined an infant classroom was out of ratio due to 6 children present (5-8 months) with 1 qualified caregiver and 1 volunteer.
